Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter, better known as Ari Lennox, is an American musician and singer from Washington, D.C., who was the first female to sign with J. Cole's Dreamville Records record label. In October 21st, 2016 Pho was released by her, her debut EP for the label Dreamville Records. It was at this point that she gained her first recognition. Shea Butter Baby, her debut studio album was released in May 7th, 2019. Ari Lennox released her debut songs online in the year 2012. She dropped Five Finger Discount in 2013 and Ariography EP in 2013. Her uploads continued songs online throughout 2014, with the release of her independent single Bound. On the 21st of July in 2015, Omen featured her on his album Elephant Eyes with the track Sweat it Out. J. Cole asked her to collaborate with him for Rihanna's references.
